Brushed aluminum strips
Straight lines are machined on the surface of the aluminum strip by (physical treatment) mechanical friction or extrusion.
The drawing can be made into straight, cross, random, thread, corrugated and spiral patterns according to the decoration needs:
Straight Brushed
Refers to the processing of straight lines on the surface of aluminum strips by mechanical friction. It has the dual functions of brushing the scratches on the surface of the aluminum strip and decorating the surface of the aluminum strip. There are two types of straight-line drawing: continuous and intermittent. The continuous silk pattern can be obtained by continuous horizontal and linear rubbing on the surface of the aluminum belt with a clean cloth or stainless steel brush (such as manual grinding under the condition of the existing equipment or using a planer to clamp the wire brush on the aluminum belt). By changing the wire diameter of the stainless steel brush, different thicknesses can be obtained. Intermittent silk patterns are generally processed on a brushing or wiping machine. Preparation principle: Two sets of differential wheels rotating in the same direction are used. The upper group is a fast-rotating grinding roller and the lower group is a slow-rotating rubber roller. An aluminum or aluminum alloy plate passes through the two sets of rollers and is brushed Fine intermittent streaks.
Cross pattern
It is usually processed on a brushing machine or a texturing machine. The aluminum or aluminum alloy plate passes through two sets of rollers, and the surface of the aluminum strip is pressed with a cross pattern.
Scribble brushed
Under the high-speed running copper wire brush, the aluminum strip is moved and rubbed back and forth and left and right to obtain a kind of matte silk pattern with no obvious grain. This processing has higher requirements on the appearance of aluminum or aluminum alloy plates.
ripple
It is generally made on a brushing machine or a wiping machine. Using the axial movement of the upper set of grinding rollers, the surface of the aluminum or aluminum alloy plate is brushed to obtain a wavy pattern.
Swirl
Also called spinning, a kind of silk pattern obtained by using cylindrical felt or grinding stone nylon wheels installed on a drilling machine, blending polishing paste with kerosene and rotating and polishing the appearance of aluminum or aluminum alloy plates. Mostly used for decorative processing of circular signs and small decorative dials.
Thread
Use a small motor with a circular felt on the shaft to fix it on the table, at an angle of about 60 degrees to the edge of the table, and make a tray with fixed aluminum tape pressed tea. Straight edge polyester film is used to limit thread race. Utilizing the rotation of the felt and the linear movement of the carriage, the surface of the aluminum strip is rubbed with a thread pattern with a uniform width. Of course, you need to wire first and then electroplat.
Before bending and other forming, it is generally flat wire drawing. In fact, the external surface treatment has high requirements for the pretreatment of the substrate, otherwise the defect of the substrate will be enlarged after the external treatment.
The appearance of ordinary aluminum alloy products is not electroplated, but various colors produced by oxidation.
Anodizing has been heard. For aluminum, it is mainly to strengthen the surface hardness (a layer of ceramic) to enhance the anti-friction performance.
Hot stamping is also a type of thermal transfer.
Die-casting aluminum is a layer of paint that can be treated with a wire-drawing treatment and then sprayed with a protective film to prevent oxidation.
Of course, die-casting parts can also be subjected to surface oxidation treatment. The appearance of matte can be achieved, but the matte effect is the early stage of the surface oxidation treatment through the sandblasting process. The sandblasting process is briefly introduced:
Sand blasting is to obtain the appearance of film light decoration or subtle reflective surface to meet the special design needs such as soft gloss. At the same time, the combination of printing material and substrate can be made stronger during silk screen printing. Sand blasting is usually carried out in a dedicated blasting machine. According to the requirements of the thickness of the sand surface, a suitable mesh of quartz sand is selected and sprayed into an appropriate sand surface. Even and moderate sandblasting can basically overcome the rare defects of aluminum appearance.
The appearance of aluminum alloy products is electroplated. The appearance of aluminum alloy products cannot be oxidized in various colors, and the authentic aluminum products can pass through the oxidation of various colors.
