Hard Coat Anodizing
Anodizing is designated as Type I or Type II. Hardcoat anodizing is referred to as Type III anodizing.
The Hard Coat Process
Hard anodizing or hard coating uses a sulfuric acid electrolyte to convert the aluminum surface to aluminum oxide.
