How is red anodized aluminum formed?

Anodized aluminum tinting is a chemical change that involves the surface oxidation of aluminum and its alloys in an artificial manner.

Electrolytic coloring: anodizing, water washing, electrolytic coloring in metal salt aqueous solution, water washing, sealing. Practical electrolytic coloring process using nickel, tin and cobalt to color light bronze to black, selenium trioxide to gold, and copper to pink to brown.

Dyeing: Anodizing, washing, dipping in dye tank, washing, sealing, washing, drying. The inner layer of the dyeing tank is generally made of acid-resistant stainless steel, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, FRP glass fiber-reinforced plastic, and other materials. With nickel acetate or cobalt acetate sealing, general dyes will not dissolve from the sealing.
