What does H32 aluminum mean?
5454-H32 aluminum plate indicates that the aluminum plate has been working hardened and stabilized, and H32 indicates that the strength of hardening is the third grade. Steady-state is reached after hardening, and the strength is approximately one-quarter of that between annealed (O) and full hard (H38).
The hardening method of 5454 aluminum sheet is not only H32 hardening but also 5454 H34 aluminum sheet hardening. Different hardening methods are required for tool production.
