Can 1 mm aluminum sheet be bent?
First, the temper is the most important. The temper of the aluminum sheet is divided into full hard, semi-hard, and soft tempers (usually the soft temper is called the O temper).
The hard bending effect is basically impossible (the temper of the aluminum sheet is H18, H19, H38, etc. are all hard)
The semi-rigid aluminum sheet can basically be bent (H24 is also semi-rigid)
O-temper bending is definitely no problem, but because it is too soft, it is basically less used in this temper.
The second is whether you choose pure aluminum or alloy aluminum
The hardness of pure aluminum is not very good. It can be used with 1100, 1050, 1060, etc., 1100 H24 is recommended.
The alloy aluminum has a better hardness, and it can be used in semi-hard tempers such as 3003, 3005, and 5052.
It is recommended that the sample be re-determined for specific conditions. If the hardness of 6061, 2024, 7075 is too high, especially in the T6 temper, it should not be bent unless it is heated and then folded.
