Ⅰ:Hard anodized aluminum
Ⅰ-A: What is hard anodized aluminum?
Hard anodizing, also known as hard coating or Type III anodizing, is a process used to create a hard wearing, corrosion resistant coating on a variety of metals.
Ⅰ-B: What are the types of hard anodized al sheet?
Anodizing can be broken down into two broad sub-categories: decorative and hard anodizing. The main differences between the two are how thick and durable the coating is, and the exact process used to create it.
Ⅱ:Hard anodized al production process principle
Hard-anodization of aluminum is brought about by placing the metal in an acid (sulfuric acid) and exposing it to an electrical charge. With the help of an electro-chemical process, aluminum gets hardened. Eventually, you get hard anodized aluminum. This type of aluminum is used to make cookware. It hardly has any pores and it has twice the hardness of stainless steel. So, you can use hard anodized cookware for cooking. The material prevents sticking of food to the pan and you may cook for long durations in these pans.
