Why Aluminum Foil Is So Popular In The Packaging Field?
Lightweight construction and an excellent moisture, light and gas barrier make aluminum foil an excellent choice for protecting food and the environment, therefore, packaging aluminum foil has become the perfect solution for food and pharmaceutical packaging.
Aluminum foil for packaging can be used alone to package food, etc., and can also be used as a multi-layer laminated material with other packaging materials.
Candies and chocolates, as well as other snacks with a long shelf life, can benefit from aluminum foil. Pharmaceutical aluminum foil has become very important and popular in the packaging of pharmaceuticals (such as capsules, tablets).

Production process
Aluminum foil is produced by rolling aluminum slabs cast from molten aluminum in a rolling mill to the desired thickness of less than 0.2 mm. It provides a complete barrier to light, oxygen, moisture, and bacteria.
For this reason, foil is used extensively in food packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. It is also used to make aseptic packaging that enables the storage of perishable goods without refrigeration.
